About us
MedKem have been providing services to the laboratory industry since 2006. Our core business is the installation, maintenance, servicing and repair of small laboratory equipment. The company is family owned and operated which makes the outcome of all that we do deeply personal.
Our customer base extends from South Africa to customers in Botswana, Mozambique, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Ghana and Nigeria.
Vision statement
Our aim is to be the first company you contact for the ongoing maintenance and repair of your laboratory equipment.
We are not SANAS accredited yet, however the equipment used by MedKem for testing and calibrations is calibrated annually by SANAS accredited agencies, copies of these certificates are made available to our customers.
Certificates are issued post service on all equipment; the certificates summarise actions taken in respect to the service and calibration of the equipment as well as any findings and/or recommendations from the Engineer.
We have implemented a work flow management system in order to streamline our services and improve communication with our customer base. The system allows for service reminders to be scheduled so that we can assist our customers in staying ahead of their service schedules.
